Halloween 2015

Come and join us at the Station Inn for a spooktacular evening of Halloween entertainment this Saturday 31st October 2015. We are hosting a party complete with Halloween music, a special themed menu and interactive decorations – pictured above being inspected by Tetley who is getting into the spirit of things with his special outfit. There will also be a pumpkin carving competition with a special prize for the winner of a complimentary stay at the hotel, which proved particularly popular last year, so get your thinking caps on! The fun will begin as darkness falls…

Stay at The Station

Ok, not everyone does…but if you fancy getting away from it all we’ve got the perfect offer. Come and stay with us throughout November andFebruary for just £40 per person per night B&B,  the offer includes a £12 credit towards your evening meal[excludes fri@sat night]. We’ve recently refurbished so all rooms are en-suite.

The Station Inn is in a magnificent location. We are surrounded by hills, caves, waterfalls, wildlife and wonderful market towns – all ripe for exploration! And if you don’t fancy bringing the car, we are situated right by the Ribblehead train station with a regular service all throughout the winter. Pop in soon and enjoy a warm welcome…and why not make it a break.

We serve real ales, beers, wines and spirits – including a great selection of whisky.

So, if the weather is good, then head out to explore before returning to our cosy bar for a pint and a meal. If the weather’s bad then admire the view from the great indoors! We overlook the Ribblehead Viaduct, so what better backdrop.

Cycle.

If you want to experience cycling in the Yorkshire Dales, there are plenty of excellent bridleways and a variety of routes to be explored. Cycle alongside the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct on easy tracks by the railway or attempt the more challenging climbs and follow the route of the Tour de France competitors.

And if you want to stay right in the heart of all the cycling action this summer, then why not stay with us in one of our newly refurbished guest rooms, in the bunk barn, or if you prefer, you are welcome to stay overnight in your motorhome in our large car park. And there’s always the option to wild camp right outside (there’s plenty of space!) and we’ll provide breakfast and dinner!

Dog and Dine!

Regulars to the pub will have met Tetley, our lovable black labrador whose favourite pastime is walking, not unlike many of the visitors who come and hike the hills that surround us!

Tetley has been the inspiration for our Dog and Dine offer – breakfast and dinners included for canine guests in the hotel or bunk barn. We just ask for a donation to the PDSA. Although Tetley remains chief taster for the Dog and Dine menu.

Walking

The Station Inn is perfectly located for those of you who plan to walk the surrounding hills. We are the place to stop to walk the famous three peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres – the highest peak in Yorkshire) and Ingleborough (723 metres).

An ideal place to take a break too for a huge range of walks – with our close proximity to Dales Way, Settle-Carlisle, Ribble Valley Way, Centurion Way, Pennine Way, and Alternative Coast to Coast.

Rail Enthusiasts

Why not take in one of the most fabulous stretches of the Settle to Carlisle Railway.

With the Visitor Centre just 150 yards from The Station Inn, we are your best stop off point, for a drink, some lunch, and / or an overnight stay. During the summer months, the steam trains pass over the viaduct and right by our door every Wednesday. Grab your camera, it’s an amazing sight and one not to be missed.
